The Worchester, Massachusetts City Council was recently confronted by a crowd of more than 200 hundred, decked out in bizarre costumes and makeup, demanding that city leaders pass a resolution declaring the community of nearly 208,000 people a transgender sanctuary city.
One speaker, donning a purple wig, pearl necklace and white gloves, said he needs the city to protect him because the federal government will not, and he is "afraid of Trump." The council responded to their demands voting 9-2 to approve the resolution.
"I need the city to protect me because the federal government won't. If you think you're afraid of Trump, you should see how afraid of Trump I am," the speaker said.
He finished with a threatening message to the council should it not make Worcester a sanctuary city.
"You better prepare for trans people to make this a very unsafe space," he said.
Brian Camenker is president of MassResistance.
"They're been doing this in Massachusetts for decades. So that scene may have looked shocking to people outside of the state, but this is what that movement is all about, pushing the envelope as far as it can go. This whole idea of a sanctuary city for trannies, that's so ridiculous, I'm sure you just have to laugh about it."

Camenker says these people need serious help.
"These people are certifiably insane. They are really, really disturbed, crazy people. No normal people would act that way. What these people really need, if you want to help them, is mental health help. That's what they all really need, and every one of them that I've ever talked to, there were some serious issues going on."
