Tony Perkins of Family Research Council (FRC) and Dr. Jim Garlow of Well Versed are hosting the Inauguration Praise and Prayer Convocation Sunday, January 19th at 2:00 pm EST inside Greater New Hope Baptist Church.
"We're so thankful that Trump will be our new president, but Jesus is our king, our messiah, and our savior, and so for that purpose, we're coming before Him to honor Jesus, to honor the Lord," Garlow details.
He says there will be praise, worship, and specific prayers that the new president "will have the mind of Christ and have a biblical worldview as he moves forward in all of these areas, that he'll have protection over him."
Garlow calls it an incredible opportunity for the Church, and Perkins agrees.
"It's an opportunity to gather and celebrate God's faithfulness to our country and His mercy and His grace and lift up our country in prayer," Perkins submits.
