A spokesman for American's oldest consumer protection agency says an automaker and popular retailer are listed as corporate sponsors of something called the Rainbow Library.

Will Hild says Consumers' Research (CR) recently published the findings of its investigation for "Woke Alert" subscribers and revealed that Kia and T.J. Maxx were sponsoring a program through the Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network (GLSEN) "that was aimed at putting books that push transgender ideology … into public schools and into public libraries and the community centers."

The books are meant for children as young as five years old.

"The only two sponsors of this GLSEN library program are Kia and T.J. Maxx," says Hild. "It's really an astonishing betrayal of the American people."

State Farm was was similarly called out for pushing LGBTQ+ books on minors a few years ago.

"We are not sure why these organizations keep doing this, but we are not going to stop until they cut it out," Hild pledges. "The nation's children should be safe from far-left radical transgender ideology, and they certainly should not have car companies and retailers pushing it on them."

AFN is seeking comments from Kia and T.J. Maxx.

Meanwhile, Hild says many consumers and shareholders have no idea what the companies they support are doing. That is part of the reason why CR started Woke Alerts.

Hild thinks "radicals have burrowed themselves" in various departments of companies to push philanthropy in "very bizarre and destructive directions" for the general public, for the nation's children, and for the companies themselves.

"This is something we've seen happen in a number of different corporations, and really, this is a warning to them," Hild tells AFN. "If you work at one of these companies and you're not involved in this kind of stuff, or you think you're not, you should go check to make sure that there are not people at your company getting you involved, getting you sponsoring things that the rest of the country is going to find rightly objectionable."

T.J. Maxx (TJX) owns popular retail stores like T.J. Maxx, HomeGoods, Marshall's, and others.
