Graham asks for prayer today at noon – noon in every time zone

Franklin Graham is calling America to prayer and repentance today at noon.

The temperature on the streets of American cities is on the rise, and we're seeing violence which, if left unchecked, could metastasize into an all-out war between supporters of the law and anarchy.

Around the globe one conflict after another put's America's resolve and foreign policy to the test, and Franklin Graham of Samaritans Purse says it's time to humble ourselves before God.

Graham, Rev. Franklin (Samaritan's Purse) Graham

“This is noon, your time, so not Eastern or Central or anything, it's wherever you may be at noon … to pray for our nation, pray for repentance. Our nation has sinned greatly against God.”

He says the change needs to happen in our own hearts before we can expect a return to God as a nation.

“We need to ask God to forgive our personal sins, our own sins. Jesus Christ came from Heaven to this earth to take our sins. He died on that cross for our sins. He was buried and God raised him to life on the third day. And I believe as Christians, we need to call out to God and repent.

Graham says President Donald Trump is being tested with several challenges abroad and needs wisdom from the Lord and the support of Christians across the country.

“And then we need to pray for those that are in authority. Our nation is in deep trouble and it's not just our nation, but we look at the world. It looks like the world is imploding.”

He says the Bible calls on us to pray for those in authority, and it says God can move the hearts of kings.

“The only hope is God, and I would encourage people to pray. Pray for the president, for all those that are in leadership in our country, that God would give them wisdom and that we would turn to Him.
