Job search survey confirms freedom-choking work environment

In an eye-opening survey, Christian and politically conservative job seekers say they keep their views and opinions to themselves at work or risk retribution.

The survey was conducted by RedBalloon, an online job service that connects like-minded employers and future employees.

Andrew Crapuchettes, the company’s founder, says RedBalloon considers itself a “non-woke” job board. For the survey, he says RedBalloon contacted 100,000 job seekers on the website and surveyed them.

“Sixty-three percent of job seekers are worried about workplace repercussions if it is discovered that they are a Republican or a conservative,” he tells AFN.

Crapuchettes says he has talked to job seekers who had to remove crosses or American flag pins at their former jobs. Many of them, he says, say they are willing to take a pay cut for more freedom at work.

In the survey, 76% said they are willing to make less income if it means working in an environment free of DEI-related mandates and propaganda.

Some non-woke employees have witnessed public backlash against the left-wing propaganda at Bud Light, at Target, and most recently at Tractor Supply. Those examples, Crapuchettes says, suggest anti-freedom ideology can be tolerated for only so long before its stranglehold on free speech is loosened.

“I think the pendulum is swinging,” he predicts. “There were significantly fewer businesses that, I'll say, 'rainbowed' their logo in the month of June.”
