'RePlatform' goal: Find companies that don't despise your values

The founder behind an upcoming business conference says the goal is to help people connect with each other in an environment that is free from left-wing punishment for your political beliefs.

The RePlatform Conference is scheduled for March 8-10 in Las Vegas.

David Ragsdale, CEO of the conference, says the idea came after watching power corporations, often with the help of government, punish people by deplatforming and debanking them.

“What our conference is all about,” he told American Family Radio, “is showcasing people and companies who are building tools so that you don't have to worry about being cancelled."

The website for RePlatform states it hopes to connect “freedom-oriented entrepreneurs, investors, and consumers.”

One key issue for Ragsdale and other supports is promoting a parallel economy. The idea is to offer consumers an opportunity to give their money to a business or corporation that shares their values rather than one that uses that revenue to fight against those values.

Asked what sector of the U.S. economy needs the most help, Ragsdale said the banking system comes first followed by the health care industry.

The business conference is hoping moms and dads come, too, because their frustrations and concerns have not gone unnoticed.

"There are so many moms and dads out there raising families,” he said, “and concerned about the future of their kids.”

Ragsdale was interviewed on the AFR program “At the Core.”
