AFN has reported about EPIC City, a planned 402-acre Islamic development in a rural area northeast of Dallas. Texas Governor Greg Abbott says that construction project has been put on hold for now. The Department of Justice is also investigating potential violations of federal law, among other things, surrounding that project.
Krista Schild is a county precinct chair and a trainer who helps educate people on Islam and Marxism. She says another possible Islamic enclave is under development in Blue Ridge, Texas, a small rural community about 50 miles northeast of central Dallas.

"They just de-annexed them from the city – but that's not going to stop the development," she tells AFN. "They maintained them in the ETJ [extraterritorial jurisdiction] so that they can keep an eye on them at the county level.
"But the people who are running the developments for that are also experts in sharia schools because they want to establish those first thing, even if they have to start a mosque in a trailer," Schild adds.
In early April, RAIR Foundation USA reported the following regarding Blue Ridge, TX:
"Behind closed doors and under the cover of routine development approvals, ideological developers with documented ties to sharia-based education networks and radical affiliations have advanced two major projects – securing annexation, rezoning, and preliminary infrastructure support for what they present as 'residential communities.' However, public records, council minutes, and developer statements tell a different story: these appear to be sectarian enclaves, designed to function under religious governance and insulated from public transparency."
"These developments raise serious concerns about transparency, legal compliance, and potential misuse of public resources. They also represent a direct and unprecedented challenge to the legal, constitutional, and civic framework of the State of Texas."
Governor Abbott has said that sharia law is not recognized in Texas.
An established pattern
Schild contends the goal is to make America and Texas an example of how Muslims are defeating the West by implementing sharia law in far-flung developments across the country.
"And every single one of these developments [follow a pattern]: establish a mosque, even if it's in a strip mall. Even if it's in an illegal storage facility or a trailer, start the school and then start building around it," she says.
According to Schild, fundraiser "landing pages" (e.g., GoFundMe) are being established "in order for them to either buy a mega-church that they can turn into a mega-mosque or just buy land and have these plans for developing a whole other sharia enclave or city."
Another development, says Schild, is underway near Aubrey, Texas, also about 50 miles north of central Dallas.
