Regarding Biden's ongoing 'debacle'

A conservative activist wonders how long America can survive the mistakes President Joe Biden continues to make on the foreign policy front.

A current example of his "America Last" policies is his recent order calling on the Department of Energy to draw 180 million barrels of oil from the nation's Strategic Petroleum Reserve so he could sell some of that to communist China. The president then took a trip to the Middle East to beg the Saudis to drill for more oil for the U.S.

Gary Bauer, president of American Values, points out that the president did not need to go to Saudi Arabia to increase the homeland's energy supply.

"All he had to do was go to San Antonio, Texas or Oklahoma City, Oklahoma or the many other places where hard-working American men and women run the greatest energy and natural gas industry in the world," Bauer submits. "But the president's at war with those people. The president is being held hostage by the extreme green environmentalists that think we're going to run America on windmills and solar panels, so it's sad that this is what took him into the Middle East."

Bauer goes on to call Joe Biden's foreign policy a complete "debacle."

"It's been a debacle from day one," he states. "It continues to be a debacle, and there's no chance that it's going to improve."

He wonders whether America will be able to survive "the constant mistakes" the president is making.

"We can make up mistakes on tax policy, on regulations, and so forth, but when you're making the kind of mistakes that he's making on matters related to our national security, it increases the chances that something terrible will happen to the United States that we can't recover from," Bauer warns.
