Why we shouldn't forget 2020

Former President Trump says even though polls show he would defeat Joe Biden in the next election, he insists 2020 must be taken care of first.

The former president recently did an interview in Mar Lago, Florida with MyPillow Founder Mike Lindell, and he did not hold back his criticism of President Joe Biden, especially regarding his successor's disastrous border policy.

"We had the best border that we've ever had in the history of our country -- that means drugs and people," Trump said. "And now it's the worst. In a period of nine months, it went from the best ever to the worst ever."

Trump also lamented the Republicans' failure to challenge the 2020 election results.

"Mitch McConnell is a disaster; he should have never approved that. He should never have allowed it," the former president asserted. "And it was very sad when Mike Pence gave those votes over … when you have more votes than you have voters, when you have other things that are so wrong."

The Republican also insisted that the country cannot just move on.

"I have a lot of good people say, 'Sir, forget about 2020. You're going to win [in 2024]. You're way up in the polls; you're going to win.' I say, 'We're not going to have a country in three years,'" Trump said. "This guy did this in nine months; he destroyed our country. Make America Great Again -- that was my theme, and it was going to be Keep America Great. America's not great now. America is a laughing stock all over the world."
